We fix these problems

Our common solutions

Excavation disrupts project schedule

Excavation often restricts access to the project site affecting deliveries, potential disputes with neighbors, dealing with compaction standards, risk of utility strikes, more utility locating and designating.

Costly sewer excavation estimates

Excavation of sewers are costly because of the danger to workers and utilities (danger of claims for lawsuits and injuries, and other liabilities), restorations not included, heavy equipment needed, labor intensive, floors jackhammered and so on.

Dont want to replace flooring/driveway/patio etc

Don't want to disturb existing foundations (especially on historic homes). Excavation costs are just the beginning of charges, how much will it cost to your project to have to shore up or modify a historic foundation, replace hardwood floors, driveway, patio etc?

Potential sewer blockages

Damage to the project before it is even completed is a real risk if a sewer backs up during your project. Then there is the post completion liability when a sewer backs up within the warranty period on workmanship.

Sewer work should not affect the project schedule

Nova Lining operates on a small footprint that will not disrupt deliveries, installations etc. Because we typically present a trenchless solution we avoid all the time impacts of breaking ground. Because sewer rehabilitation is our main specialty, we maintain inventory and in house custom fabrication for a speedy installation.

40-50% of conventional excavation

Cured in Place Pipe is minimally invasive and it's as if we were never there. No surface restoration, no jackhammers or heavy equipment. Using a superior technology for sewer rehabilitation saves a lot of time and money.

Sewer renewal with minimal surface disruption

No traditional excavation needed, and work can be performed from a small access point. If needed NoVA Lining can also provide 'Precision Utility Location' services.

Vac-A-Tee cleanouts to prevent inside work

NoVa Lining performs private utility locating and in house air-excavation. This includes us installing exterior access points if necessary. There is no risks of utility strikes, minimal disturbance to walkways, landscaping etc.

The NoVa lining process for Commercial contractors

1. Determine scope of work with site visit and open discussion about individual project timelines and milestones and when Nova can come in with zero amount of disruption to the project.

  • Review plans and any available drawings
  • Site visit with CCTV and utility locating when needed.
  • Confirm suitable access-points for VAC-A-TEE cleanout placement or other suitable access points.
  • Most materials stocked by Nova for quick project turnaround.
  • Go over rough gameplan and what that looks like for the affected jobsite (water shutdowns, unrestricted access etc.)
  • Determine any special requests that may need to be accommodated.

2.Proposal sent to client

  • Present overall project cost
  • Discuss and review proposal with client to verify if any additional accommodations or requests exist.
  • Signed proposal with electronic signatures and deposit sent.

3.Create new access points and begin the process of cleaning and measuring the pipes

  • Install trenchless Vac-A-Tee cleanout if new access is needed to facilitate the cleaning and cured in place pipe installation (or use existing cleanout, manhole, lamp hole etc.)
  • Record Pre cleaning CCTV inspection
  • Begin the cleaning process using high speed millers with precision carbide cutting chains and water hydro jetting not to exceed 4,000 psi.
  • Verify connections and determine approach for reinstatement, whether to use a miller or small diameter robotics.
  • Flush all debris and ensure the collection system is fully cleared of debris and pipe restored as close to humanly possible to its original inside diameter. We call this cleaning to " Lining Standard."
  • Record Post cleaning CCTV Inspection
  • Taake precise measurements of the length of sewer lateral to be lined.
